Convolutionary Neural Networks represents a category of neural networks that are quite effectively applied in tasks such as face and object recognition, self-driving car system development etc. However, understanding of principle how CNN works can be quite tricky. The work describes the mechanism of Convolutional Neural Networks for picture processing. We have to mention that this method was used in software developed by our student for Georgian handwriting recognition .
