Annotation:
Electron paramagnetic resonance(EPR)is one of the successful method of biomedical studies. It is possible not only to detect highli active free radicals in the study object, but also to determine their chemical nature, activity and role during development of various pathological processes. Currentli, there are about 60 different type of diseases, the free free radicals involved in the development of which are known.Study of free radicals at room temperature can only be used by spin traps. The paper is considered with several examples of biomedical studies using spin traps.
